Lions Club of Surat (SM) & G-PEN set a new trend in the Installation Ceremony

Surat (Gujarat) [India]: In a bid to innovate the routine ‘Installation Ceremony’ of new body of Lions Club of Surat (Sardar Market), a unique collaboration was done with Global Professionals & Entrepreneurs’ Network (G-PEN) and several dignitaries of Surat city were invited and felicitated with ‘Dynamic Icon of Gujarat 2023’ award.

The 40th installation ceremony of Cabinet for LY 2023-24 of Lions Club of Surat (SM) was held on July 8 at Mahida Bhavan, Ichchhanath. The club stated that Lion Arvind Patel (Past District Governor) graced the occasion as ‘Special Guest’ and Lion Paresh Patel remained present as the ‘Installation Officer’ in the program. The newly elected team of office bearers included Lion Ashok Manji as President, Lion Babubhai Patel as Secretary, and Lion Dinesh Patel as Treasurer for LY 2023-24.

The installation ceremony was followed by an opulent award ceremony by G-PEN. City’s iconic social workers and businessmen were invited to remain present in the event to grace the occasion. Speaking exclusively with our reporter, Nihar Saraswala, the founder of G-PEN and Dr Vimal Rathi, the co-founder said that this is a part of our efforts to break traditional barriers and bring innovation to major programs happening across the city. Achievers of the city Bharatbhai Shah, Rupinbhai Patchigar, Durriya Mustafa Tapiya, Jayesh Gaandhi, Dr Surendra Prajapati, Surendra Rawat, Dt. Rajvi Shah, Kaiwan Bhagwagar, CA Mahesh Chandak, Prakash Bindal, Ravirajsinh P. Solanki, Ravirajsinh P. Jadeja, Lalji Phophalia and Rahim Meghani were felicitated with ‘Dynamic Icon of Gujarat 2023’ award during this event.

All in all, it was a very successful installation and award ceremony leading to a new trend to install new body in presence of top achievers of the city apart from presence of club members.
